The rugged frame coupled with its light weight, provides the necessary durability required by law enforcement. A series of drop tests were performed without loss of function. The flashlight / floodlight concept has many applications in law enforcement including Crime Scene Investigation to create oblique lighting for evidence discovery and/or photography. The switches of the flashlight are easy to use in both normal and tactical situations. Overall the NSR-9810 performed well-above industry standard. ...I plan on replacing our standard issued office lights with the NSR-981O.
